PX Précinox SA is taking a further step in its commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility. In early 2022, the company will join the Swiss Triple Impact training program to prepare for B Corps certification.

A sustainable and responsible commitment initiated many years ago

At PX Precinox SA, we are aware of the importance of integrating both ecological and social responsibility into corporate strategy and good governance, and have incorporated this into our strategic thinking and fundamental aims. For several years, the company has been committed to developing measures to achieve its objectives.

Since the beginning of 2021, it has been clear that this aim is perfectly aligned with customer needs. The major players in the watch industry, among others, are now actively committed to reducing their ecological and societal impact. This is a marked trend that will only intensify in the coming years.

The profession and the business model of Précinox SA make our company a key player in the value-added chain of products made of precious metals. By bringing customized solutions to the customers, Précinox SA accompanies them in their approach and in the pursuit of their strategic objectives, in particular in terms of carbon reduction.

The B Corp certification, an additional step to concretize the commitment of PX Précinox SA

Within the framework of its policy in terms of sustainable and responsible commitment, Précinox SA has created an ESG committee in charge of accompanying the rollout of its strategy. The company has embarked on a hybrid path specifically designed for companies seeking B Corps certification. During the first months of 2022, the company will integrate the successful Swiss Triple Impact workshops using 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs). The programme enables companies to improve their sustainability performance while strengthening their competitiveness. It offers in particular specific additional modules with strong added value, optimal for companies having a high degree of maturity in sustainable development, such as that observed at PX Précinox SA. This national program will allow the company to measure its contribution to the SDGs and improve its processes for the ultimate benefit of our customers.

Already today, PX Précinox SA has the capacity to offer great transparency of the carbon impact per kg of fine gold produced throughout its supply chain. Analyses carried out in accordance with GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards offer easy reading to stakeholders wishing to integrate these values into their ESG sustainability reports.
