Exclusive geometry that adapts to the most difficult materials
The exclusive geometry of the new range adapts to soft materials (gold, silver, copper and lead-free materials) as well as to the most difficult materials (steel, stainless steel, titanium).
True allies for precision Threading, STORM carbide micro thread formers have a special RV55 coating that has already proved successful in more than 10,600 taps in M1.4 on 20 pitches per hole in 316L stainless steel. The new range pushes the limits and optimizes the results of deformation threading. The hardening of the material makes the threads stronger on the parts while allowing a clean operation without chipping.
STORM micro thread formers are available for watchmaking standard from S0.4 to S0.9 and for metric standard from M1 to M6.
