PX Group is committed to implementing an organizational development program focused on preserving, formalizing and passing on the know-how held by its employees.
A vital strategic axis defined by its Board of Directors, the development of employees’ knowledge and skills is an integral part of PX Group’s DNA.
When employees resign, they take their individual knowledge with them, which inexorably reduces the group’s collective knowledge and the competitive advantage that goes with it. Aware of this risk, management shared its concerns with professors from the Arc School of Business who were involved in assessing PX Group’s digital maturity.
As a result of the interactions between the various parties involved, a project to develop a digital application dedicated to the preservation and transmission of know-how was set up, involving three partners including PX Group and HE-Arc. The project was submitted to Innosuisse, the Swiss Innovation Promotion Agency, which recognized the innovative and unique nature of the project, and partial public funding was granted to produce a first version of Colearnis©. Today, Colearnis© is accessible to all PX Group employees (subject to granted rights), and contains nearly 150 pieces of know-how preserved by PX Group employees on hypersecure servers.
The Colearnis© tool lives and breathes thanks to the voluntary contributions of PX Group employees. To encourage its use, the role of management in all companies and at all hierarchical levels needs to evolve. This evolution involves leadership training and professional coaching. By supporting the development of employees’ human potential and encouraging the creation of a stimulating and motivating environment, all PX Group managers simultaneously promote the well-being and fulfillment of their staff.
In addition to preserving, formalizing and passing on know-how, PX Group expects to :
- Creating a stimulating and motivating environment for all employees;
- Supporting the development of employees’ human potential;
- Enhancing people’s well-being and personal fulfillment;
- Maintaining competitive advantages in an increasingly competitive market;
- A positive impact on social and economic performance;
- Improving working conditions and employee benefits;
- Reducing employee turnover in Group companies;
- Stakeholders who recognize the Group as an innovative and reliable partner;
- Promoting an exemplary model of responsible corporate management at regional, national and supranational level.
