Confidentiality declaration

Article 1 – Introduction

This declaration reflects our data processing practices and standards. It applies wherever we act as data controller for data – personal or otherwise – of our customers, business partners, applicants or visitors to our websites.

Article 2 – Who we are?

This site is owned and operated by PX Group SA, Boulevard des Eplatures 42, 2300 La Chaux-de-Fonds.

PX Group is a public limited company under Swiss law, registered in the Commercial Register under IDE number CHE-103.664-0. The group comprises ten companies, all leaders in their respective fields of expertise. The list of entities is published here.

Article 3 – What data do we process and for what purpose?

In the context of employment or business relationships, we process the categories of data described below, although the examples listed may not be exhaustive.
If the data stored changes, we may continue to store the data in its current state as well as its previous state within the legal retention periods. If you are a customer, a business partner or express an interest in our products or services:
We may process the contact data you provide, i.e. your first and last name, e-mail address, telephone number, employer, title and position. We may also process non-personal data that you provide to us, such as information about your company, technical drawings, documents or correspondence relating to the subjects that concern us. This data is processed in order to provide you with the service you require and to communicate with you. The legal basis is the performance of the contract that binds us or the steps leading to its realization.

If you visit our websites or consult any other information available online:

We may process usage data including your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, duration of your visit, pages viewed, browsing history, frequency of use.
The purpose of this processing is to analyze the use of our websites and online services. It is based on our legitimate interest in securing and improving the content of our websites.

If you are an applicant:

If you apply for a job, we process the personal data you provide us in connection with your professional experience, training or professional qualifications, contact details, nationality, marital status and any other information contained in your CV.
The processing is based on your consent, which you implicitly give us by applying for a job, or have given to a service provider we use for recruitment purposes.

If you contact us:
When you are in contact with us via our various services, by e-mail, telephone, post or other means of communication, you authorize the recording of the data exchanged between you and us, including contact details and data present in the communication. You are informed when the call is recorded. If you do not wish to be recorded, please inform us or end your call.

Article 4 – With whom do we share your data?

We may share your data with the various entities of the group insofar as this is necessary, in accordance with the legal bases and purposes mentioned in this declaration.
We may also transfer certain information about you to subcontractors and partners in order to obtain or maintain insurance cover, manage risks, subcontract certain administrative or financial tasks and to fulfil our legal obligations.

Article 5 – How long do we keep your data?

Any data we process is kept for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose specified for its processing. If we have a contract with you, we shall apply the legal retention periods applicable to this type of contract. We may retain certain data or maintain certain records for longer periods for legal compliance, financial or other statistical reporting purposes.

Article 6 – How do we protect your data?

We take appropriate measures to protect your data against theft, improper use, accidental disclosure or destruction. We have also implemented measures to guarantee their confidentiality, both in our processes and in the technical processing systems.
Where necessary, we sign non-disclosure agreements for data requiring a particularly high level of confidentiality. In such cases, the conditions defined bilaterally shall prevail over the present declaration.

Article 7 – What are your rights?

You have the fundamental rights listed below in relation to the personal data we process about you. You do not have to pay anything to exercise them, and we promise to process your request within 30 days. We shall respond in accordance with legal requirements, which may mean that we are unable to meet some specific requests. You have the right to:

  • Access your personal information.
  • Ask to receive your personal data in a portable (machine-readable) format
  • Request that we correct any incorrect personal information.
  • Request the destruction of your personal data.
  • Temporarily or permanently restrict the processing of your data.
  • Withdraw your authorization or object to the processing in cases where it is based either on your consent or on our legitimate interest.

Any request to exercise a right must be accompanied by a copy of a valid proof of identity to enable us to ensure that the request is made by the legitimate owner of the data concerned.
