This trade fair, which brings together high-precision professionals from the fields of watchmaking, jewelry, micro-technology and medtech, was held at the Geneva Palexpo from June 12 to 14, 2024. According to the organizers’ official release, the fair closed with an unprecedented attendance by professional Swiss and international visitors (+8.72%).

This event, essential for PX Group, was regarded as a very good edition by all the companies present. Despite a market slowdown, some positive new contacts were established, in both the watchmaking and jewelry fields. Our new products and the innovations presented generated a great deal of curiosity both from our existing partners/customers and new prospects.

Innovation is an integral part of PX Group. Our group continues to innovate and demonstrate its commitment to innovation, in order to stand out on the market by offering innovative products. Our new “Metallic glasses” generated a huge amount of interest. We are able to produce this amorphous palladium-based alloy, renowned in particular for its high hardness, light weight and shiny surface finish which is also extremely scratch-resistant. This product will be especially valued for making semi-finished jewelry components, and we firmly believe that it will earn success in the near future.

Meanwhile, our 3P-TeCh platform is continuing its progress. This joint project with our partner Promotion Spa offers additive manufacturing services for precious metals, and also for bronze, with guaranteed confidentiality. The platform brings together all the skills needed for successful laser metal fusion manufacturing, from powder metallurgy to finishing operations. https://3p-tech.ch/en/

The Chairman of PX Group, Mr. Pierre-Olivier Chave, has also taken part in one of the traditional round tables. On Wednesday 12 June, the topic of debate was the development of the watch market and its consequences in terms of subcontracting which many company heads are facing. There was a particular focus on the consistent growth in the top-end segment alongside the scaling-back in the low-end and middle segments.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the many visitors to our stand, to our staff, and to the EPHJ management team for their excellent organization of this edition. Please make a note of the next EPHJ, due to be held from June 3rd to 6th, 2025!
