EPHJ, this not to be missed event for PX Group bringing together high-precision professionals in the fields of watchmaking, jewellery, microtechnologies and medtech, took place at Geneva Palexpo from June 3 to 6, 2025.
Despite a market slowdown, the contacts established have been positive. Our new products and innovations have largely piqued the curiosity of our visitors and partners, particularly our offer of custom alloy creation and recycled metals.
Thanks to our foundry and the combination of metallurgical expertise and cutting-edge technologies, PX Group is able to offer tailor-made precious metal alloys for its customers. It is possible to obtain an alloy with a color that stands out from existing alloys, or with improved mechanical properties, or with a personalized composition. These developments are carried out on demand according to your specifications by the R&D team and then transferred to production to best meet your needs.
New perspectives in urban mining were presented. Electronic waste (E-Waste) is the fastest-growing waste stream, with annual growth of +5%. The demand for recycled and traceable precious metals is increasing exponentially in the context of limited physical supply. Therefore, urban waste represents a vast and largely untapped opportunity, with 70 million tons of e-waste generated each year by our planet. PX Precinox SA, as a precious metal refiner and finisher for over 45 years, is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this booming market.
The 3P-Tech platform continues to generate significant interest. This joint project with our partner Promotion Group Spa offers additive manufacturing services for precious metals, as well as bronze, while ensuring strict confidentiality. It brings together all the skills essential to the success of additive manufacturing: from powder metallurgy to finishing operations. Our customers can source PX Impact® gold, ensuring complete traceability from the mine to the finished product. https://3p-tech.ch/fr/
As for recycled high performance metals, PX Précimet is pleased to expand its range by offering recycled Grade 5 Titanium. This alloy is particularly renowned for its strength, lightness and extremely flexible surface appearance, which also incorporates a dimension of sustainability and environmentally friendly sourcing. This product is appreciated for the production of semi-finished components in the watchmaking, medical and aeronautical sectors. Through Swiss Profile, PX Group is also present in more competitive and higher-volume industrial markets, particularly in the medical and precision automation sectors.
Our expertise in cutting tool manufacturing reaches a new peak with the development of custom saw blades, the result of our historical know-how and consolidated experience within PX Group. Our customers note significantly superior cutting performance, with an average tool life of 60% longer and a significant reduction in burrs at the part exit. Thanks to complete control of the production chain and the continuous optimization of our processes, PX Tools is able to offer custom tools at ultra-competitive prices, without any compromise on quality.
Finally, we would like to extend our warmest thanks to the management of the EPHJ for the excellent organization, the many visitors who visited our stand, and our staff. We look forward to seeing you at the next edition, which will take place from June 6 to 19, 2026.
