In the 4th quarter 2024, Swiss Profile commissioned 2 new equipment: a continuous heat-treating line and a solvent degreasing machine.
Consistency is crucial in manufacturing, especially in industries where safety and performance are non-negotiable. All our metal products undergo a heat treatment cycle at least twice during the production process flow, making furnaces crucial equipment for metal working. Our latest Swiss conveyor belt continuous furnace is designed for energy efficiency and offers precise control over temperature, atmosphere and processing times, leading to uniform material properties. The consistency of the continuous process helps ensure that products meet stringent quality standards. The modern design allows for continuous annealing or hardening of metals, which improves productivity, particularly in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Operating in parallel with our new conveyor belt furnace is a heavy-duty vertical stage automated solvent vapor degreaser. This specialized ultrasonic cleaning machine is used to remove contaminants, lubricants, oils, and grease from metal parts and components. With the development of the medical segment at Swiss Profile, products require a higher level of cleanliness and degreasing, which the new equipment will help achieve. The machine uses a solvent in vapor phase to clean parts, alternating with immersing them in liquid solvent combined with ultrasound agitation. The vertical configuration allows for efficient loading and unloading of parts, optimizing space and improving the flow of cleaning operations. Parts are placed in baskets, allowing solvents to envelop them effectively during both immersion process and vapor process.
