The high-quality surface of a cold rolled profile along with the high hardness are both essential to ensure the reliability and durability of assemblies in motion.
Rather than creating a case-hardened surface, our continuous hardening process under protective atmosphere followed by a tempering operation at low temperature confers to the linear profiles the desired dimensional stability. This heat treatment will result in an improvement of the mechanical properties, producing a tougher and more durable profile while relieving the brittleness of fully hardened steel or stainless steel. In properly sized linear bearings, typical life ratings range from hundreds to thousands of kilometers of travel.
Our precision profile and wire races are custom made in various shapes and cross sections to be mounted on base plates, embedded into aluminum rails or directly used as rails depending on the applications and requirements. We offer an extensive product lineup that can be produced in any length up to 6m in a hardness range of 50HRC to 60HRC.
