PX Précinox SA takes another step forward in its commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. In early 2022, the company will join the Swiss Triple Impact training program to prepare for B Corps certification.
A long-standing commitment to sustainability and responsibility
PX Precinox SA is aware of the importance of integrating both ecological and social responsibility into its corporate strategy and good governance, and has made this a key part of its strategic thinking and fundamental missions. For several years now, the company has been committed to developing measures to help it achieve its objectives.
Since the start of 2021, it’s clear that this commitment is perfectly aligned with our customers’ needs. The major players in the watchmaking industry, to name but one, are now actively committed to reducing their ecological and social impact. A marked trend that can only be expected to intensify over the coming years.
Précinox SA’s core business and business model make us a key player in the value-added chain for precious metal products. By providing tailor-made solutions to customers, Précinox SA supports them in their approach and in the pursuit of their strategic objectives, particularly in terms of carbon reduction.
B Corp certification, a further step in the commitment of PX Précinox SA
As part of its policy of sustainable and responsible commitment, Précinox SA has set up an ESG committee to support the deployment of its strategy. The company has embarked on a hybrid course specially designed for companies wishing to obtain B Corps certification. In the first few months of 2022, the company will be integrating the successful Swiss Triple Impact workshops using the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The program enables companies to improve their sustainable development performance while boosting their competitiveness. In particular, it offers specific, high value-added additional modules, ideal for companies with a high degree of maturity in sustainable development, such as that observed at PX Précinox SA. This national program will enable the company to measure its contribution to the SDGs and improve its processes for the ultimate benefit of our customers.
Already today, PX Précinox SA is able to offer a high level of transparency on the carbon impact per kg of fine gold produced throughout its supply chain. Analyses carried out in compliance with GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards make it easier for stakeholders to integrate these values into their ESG sustainable development reports.
