The Federal Office of Customs and Border Protection(FOCB) requires certificates of analysis to be transmitted in digital form as part of the official hallmarking and control of precious metals. These documents are to be integrated into the new PREZIUS platform.
This new operating procedure will come into force on June 1, 2025 at the latest. It will apply to all customers with a type 1 contract. In preparation for this change, a PX Cloud solution is being developed to provide secure, digital access to certificates.
To benefit from this service, the companies concerned are invited to contact PX Précinox and provide the contact details of the persons authorized to manage their data. A personal identifier and QR code will then be sent to each user, enabling a secure connection via two-factor authentication.
We also ask you to report any departure of an employee with access to the cloud, in order to guarantee up-to-date access and data security.
Paper certificates will continue to be printed initially, but will no longer be valid for stamping without electronic transmission via the PREZIUS platform.
