The PX Impact® Initiative is built around 3 pillars:
1 Guaranteeing responsible gold: the partnership and collaboration with artisanal mines (ASMs), combined with the resources, skills and know-how of PX Précinox and Dynacor Gold, enable us to set up guaranteed mercury-free extraction processes, obtain larger quantities available, an economically viable premium and guarantee traceability throughout the chain.
2 Contributing to a sustainable and responsible impact: the establishment of a PX Impact® fund to support and develop ASMs makes it possible to improve working conditions for miners and carry out social, economic and environmental programs by taking concrete action at local level through the Fidamar Association. Collaboration with all stakeholders involved enables transparency free from intermediaries.
3 Building and developing a network of committed key partners: collaboration between artisanal small-scale miners’ organizations, the Dynacor Gold ore processing plant, the PX Précinox refiner and Impact customers enables all the framework conditions to be put in place to guarantee responsible gold, segregation of gold recycling flows, perfect traceability and relevant local socio-economic support.
