Easy-to-use, functional and, above all, eco-friendly: “BacImpact” is the new case created by PX Précinox to hold and transport the material ordered. It is in line with the company’s commitment to sustainable development and responsible production.
Instead of a wooden lath wrapped in successive layers of scotch, kraft or corrugated cardboard, the new packaging, padded with a black foam as resistant as it is elegant, is delicately filled with the material ordered, then sealed before dispatch. As soon as it’s delivered, our couriers collect the empty packaging.
The “BacImpact” project offers a unique user experience. With the multiple use of the same packaging, it is a mine of significant ecological impacts. Costs, particularly those linked to materials, gradually disappear in the flow of successive uses. Another significant gain is the reduction in time spent packing and handling the case. This project – which is clearly part of a 360° circular flow logic – ensures both ease of handling for our customers and employees, and the very safety of the parcel.
More generally, this more functional and environmentally-friendly packaging project meets our objectives of sustainable development and responsible production. In practical terms, for an annual requirement, this equates to several hundred meters and kilograms saved, whether in the form of adhesive tape, corrugated cardboard or wood, which was previously used for laths.
It is in this spirit that the “BacImpact” project is taking place. The transition to a circular economy – which this project supports – is essential if we are to meet the growing challenges of waste management and resource depletion. Promoting a culture of sustainability – with a review of corporate values and behaviors, as well as a change of mindset among employees and our customers – is essential to making this transition a success. It can only be achieved by involving all our stakeholders.

We have also developed and manufactured our new case in partnership with the Alfaset Foundation, based in La Chaux-de-Fonds. This non-profit institution, deeply committed both humanly and professionally, is a local player with whom we collaborate on a regular basis. As an industrial partner for this type of project, the Alfaset Foundation provides us with competitive solutions and motivated teams, while offering work opportunities to disabled people.
For several years now, PX Group has been committed to a virtuous approach, adopting numerous measures in areas such as energy consumption and the recycling of gold extracted from various electronic waste products. PX Précinox has implemented this concrete strategy, in line with the Agenda 2030 for sustainable development, by registering in the Swiss Triple Impact Directory.
