An endoscope is a medical or industrial optical instrument used to perform endoscopy, i.e. to visualize intrusive surgical operations or even microsurgery, or simply to observe hard-to-reach areas in various fields.
A range offering all types of round tubes and shapes
In tubes sometimes less than 5mm in diameter, up to two tools (scissors, claws, scalpel or optics) can pass through to intervene on the patient.
For use in endoscopy, PX Precimet offers all types of round and shaped tubes. Size ranges from Øint. 1.5 mm with a wall thickness of 0.08mm min. up to Øext. 35mm with 2.5mm minimum wall thickness.
Precimet’s PX tube range starts at 1 mmm inside diameter and 0.1 mm thickness.
Our standard dimensional tolerances are ±0.02 but, on request, we have produced tolerances of ±0.01 with int/ext roughness of Ra0.2.
We offer tubes with variable diameters and shapes in the same piece (drawn from one piece), various finishes and cuts to length.
